Position Summary
Conco Services Corporation has an immediate need to hire a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to service our Southwest and West Coast area.  Join a worldwide market leader that has been delivering condenser and heat exchanger reliability and efficiency service for over 90 years.  We provide specialized products and services to the world's most critical industries including power, petrochemical and refinining. We deliver a wide range of state-of-the-art products and equipment. The Senior Account Manager includes servicing some existing accounts and includes significant prospecting for new accounts and will report to the Southwest and West Coast Regional Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Selling the company's services to customers located within a specific geographic territory and or named accounts;
  • Maintain existing accounts and expand services sold to these accounts;
  • Sell services to new and existing accounts within the designated territory;
  • Cold calling new accounts to expand customer base;
  • Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports & forecasts accordingly;
  • Demonstrate services and participate in trade shows and conferences;
  • Develop and execute relevant & timely action plans;
  • Adhere to Employee's Responsibilities section set forth in Conco's Safety Policies & Procedure Manual

Skills

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (both orally and written);
  • Ability to identify new markets and customers based on Conco service offerings and core competencies;
  • Ability to travel throughout the country, which may include overnight travel and occasional weekends;
  • Solid knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Detail oriented/results driven;
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment with an appropriate sense of urgency and accuracy;
  • Ability to present product and service information

Experience & Education

  • College degree preferred - High School Diploma or GED required;
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience (petrochemical industry highly preferred, industrial sales preferred);
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States;
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record;
  • Equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Physical Requirements

  • Willing and ability to travel via airplane or by vehicle;
  • Has dependable transportation and is weilling to walk down jobs at customer facilities;
  •  Occasional crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, squatting, driving, sitting or standing (particularly for long periods of time);
  • Physically submit to periodic drug, background and clearance screenings (employment is contingent upon favorable results)
